Title: A wonderful hotel

Comment:Hotel Aeolos made our stay in Mykonos! It is a smaller hotel with incrediable personal service; everytime we passed the front desk we were greeted by name. We spent our anniversary at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised with flowers and a cake!!! The hotel itself is situated a pleasant (but uphill) 10 minute walk from town (an easy 3 euro cab ride home.) There is a great pool which most of the rooms face. The rooms are spacious, spotless and very comforable. There is a great little bar and lounge. The best aspect of the hotel is definitely the staff. They were very helpful with suggestions. They even arranged for complimentary transfers from the airport and the port. In addition they arranged for our rental car. We would definitely stay at Hotel Aeolos again and without a doubt suggest it to our fussiest friends. * Liked — the customer service

Comment:This is a lovely hotel, you are made welcome from the moment you arrive. Lovely rooms, great breakfasts(and lunches)Panos even drove us into town when we were going down at the same time.A very good hotelier and we would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. Walking downhill into town takes about 15 mins but a taxi back is between €4-5 so its worth taking it back up the hill. * Liked — The friendliness of Panos and the staff as well as the lovely rooms. * Disliked — The walk into town but to get a great location like this it was worth it.

Title: Friendly and comfortable hotel

Comment:The owner/manager was so helpful and hospitable it felt like staying at an exclusive apartment - he called while we were en route to confirm the time to be picked up on arrival, showed us three rooms to choose from on arrival at the hotel, welcomed us with a bottle of wine on the house and was extremely kind and helpful the entire stay, arranging car hire, providing maps and information, ending up with taking us to the port to catch our ferry. The location is outside the town at the top of a steep hill but after a couple of hundred yards walking on a busy road (care needed) there are (rough) paths and steps to the town and port. Take a taxi back – only 3 euros. Once in the narrow, car-free streets although the first experience is like a maze, one soon gets used to simply going down and eventually reaching the port though the clean and attractive shopping streets. Some of the port-side restaurants are the usual tourist trap types but we found one with very nice food - Antoninis, Manto Square just above where the taxis wait at the harbour side. Away from the harbour side there are also many nice restaurants. We liked the great service, the pool and jacuzzi, comfortable lounge, free wifi at the hotel. We slept well. Nothing to add.

Title: Fantastic service, beautiful pool area and very nice rooms

Comment:I have never written on trip advisor before, but feel I must. Hospitality was beyond amazing at the Aeolos hotel in Mykonos. Panos sent a car to the ferry terminal as the shuttle was at the other port (our fault as we weren’t sure when we would be arriving so had not let him know). When we said we were leaving on a 7:00 flight in the morning, he set his alarm to get up and take us to the airport himself at 6:00 am. He checked out flight on his own initiative, welcomed us with a drink, and asked us if we would prefer a room on the second floor or the first floor. The room was clean and well appointed, the pool area beautiful. We travel to Europe every year and have met very nice people and good hotel owners, but this was by far a true red carpet experience.

Title: Fantastic holiday and service in a great hotel

Comment:Overall we had an excellent stay. Panos called the day before our arrival to check times and offered to pick us up from the airport. We were also welcomed with a bottle of wine. He took alot of time to explain on the map the best places to go while we were there. One evening after a night out he saw us walking up the hill and stopped to offer us a lift and he also arranged to have a pair of trousers laundered at no cost after I stepped in some vomit in the town. The staff were all welcoming and friendly and could not do enough to help, we were even given another bottle of wine just before we left as a thankyou for staying at the hotel. Although we found Mykonos to be very expensive in the resort the service we received at the hotel more than made up for this.
